Christopher Morton cause of death: Details of how producer WhiteBoy shot explained

American producer Christopher Morton aka WhiteBoy has been fatally shot, according to a statement issued by Baltimore Police.

Most of Baltimore’s prominent rappers, including YG Teck, OTR Chaz, Roddy Rackzz, and 448 RIQ, frequently worked with Morton as their producer.

According to the account in a police statement, American producer Christopher Morton aka WhiteBoy was shot and killed on Thursday.

His producer tag, “Whiteboy came wit da bag like it’s Christmas,” a lyric from Roddy Rackzz and OTR Chaz’s 2019 song “Get in Dere,” was audible on essentially every album by a local artist over the previous few years.

Morton’s album “Christmas List,” which included a lot of the city’s top performers at the time, was published on Christmas Eve 2021. The album gave birth to several songs that became anthems for Baltimore’s nightlife, including “Rich N****s” with OTR Chaz and YG Teck and “Bus Fare” with YG Teck, Roddy Rackzz, and YBS Skola.

Around 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, when police were called to the 400 block of Russell Street for a car accident, they discovered a 27-year-old man who had been shot in the head. Police said he was taken to a hospital, where he later passed away.

On Saturday, which would have been Morton’s 28th birthday, there will be a balloon release and candlelight vigil for him in the 1800 block of Westwood Avenue. On social media, coworkers, colleagues, and fans expressed their sorrow over the passing of the well-known producer.
