Who Was Gary Green?
There is no information about Gary Green’s parents and childhood history. He was married to Lovetta Armstead. They had a daughter together named Jazzmen Montgomery. A few months after their wedding, Lovetta decided to leave the marriage. This angered Gary Green who finally stabbed his wife and daughter to death.
During the court proceedings, the late Lovetta Armstead’s two children from her previous relationship told the court that their stepfather forced them to watch the dead body of their mother and daughter. Green picked them up from church that day and held them at knifepoint, stabbing the younger brother in the abdomen. They said they managed to persuade Green not to kill them. After showing them the bodies, the older son testified that Green told them not to call the police until after he was gone and that he was planning to take his own life.

Gary Green was later apprehended and sentenced in 2010. On March 7 2023, Gary died by lethal injection at the state penitentiary in Huntsville. His attorneys had tried convincing the court to consider his mental illness but were not successful.
